Ren Guolei

Ren Guolei holds the titles of Chongqing Survey and Design Master, President of the Municipal Branch of Chongqing Survey and Designing Association, President of the Chongqing Alumni Association of Tongji University, Vice President of the Chongqing Alumni Association of Tsinghua University, professor-level Senior Engineer and First-Class Licensed Structural Engineer. Primarily engaged in the design, general contracting, and full-process consulting of large-scale municipal engineering and urban rail transit projects, he has presided over and completed dozens of extra-large and complex projects such as municipal super major bridges, rail transit systems, and transportation hubs. His representative projects include: the Chongqing Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge Project, Fuling Wujiang Second Bridge, Chongqing Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge, Chongqing Nanping Comprehensive Transportation Hub, and the Huangjuewan Interchange Project under the general contracting of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 18. He has won numerous international and domestic design awards, including two Eugene Figo Awards for Bridge Innovation, four Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prizes, two National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Awards, and three National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Awards. He has published six academic papers in core journals such as World Bridges and Proceedings of the 19th National Bridge Academic Conference, including Design of Steel and Concrete Joint Parts of Main Arch Ring of Caiyuanba Changjiang River Bridge in Chongqing, and Overall Design and Construction of Sanhao Bridge on Hunhe River, Shenyang, as well as the Innovative Design and Critical Technologies in Practice of River-spanning Bridges in Mountainous Cities published by Chongqing University Press. He has made outstanding contributions to advancing bridge engineering technology in China.
