"TWO RIVERS AND FOUR BANKS" IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Introduction
The "Two Rivers and Four Banks" Improvement Project is situated in the main urban area of Chongqing. The project covers a shoreline that spans 19.4 kilometers and encompasses an area of approximately 249.36 hectares. It involves various components such as ecological restoration, landscaping, walkways, buildings, water supply and drainage, electrical systems, and related public and municipal facilities. The project aims to address persistent environmental pollution, enhance riverbank revetments, optimize riverbank functions, restore natural ecosystems, implement urban water management, and beautify riverbank facilities. The ultimate goal is to enhance the natural environment and create a beautiful ecological belt with green mountains and clear waters.
